Meet Our Team Providing the strategic direction to the company

Gulf Petroleum Group organizational structure, which is designed to maximize efficiency by empowering personnel to take decisions, promotes high ethical standards, institutional integrity and effective corporate governance in every facet of our enterprise. It further implements a number of policies and systems that establish clear performance expectations for business conduct by our workforce.

The Group is led by Board of Directors that through its chairman has over riding responsibility for managing the Group and supervising the Group’s day-to-day management and its operations.

Subsequent to the unanimous decision of the shareholders and the Board of directors, the Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer positions are combined. Since then the Chairman & Chief Executive officer who also chairs both the Executive committee (Group’s principal decision-making body) and Performance Management Committee (senior body which various subsidiaries and affiliates of the Group are accountable to) assumes the ultimate general management responsibilities, organizes and supervises the work of the Gulf Petroleum Group Board of Directors and makes sure that the Board, the Executive Committee, and Group Performance Management Committee, operate efficiently, in line with the good governance principles.

At Gulf Petroleum in line with the set Board guidelines, the management team is dedicated to conducting the Group business in a way that safeguards its employees, protects the environment, benefits neighbouring communities and reinforces regional economies.
